Weekend Fun!

Grace had fun driving this "dozer" at Day of the Dozer. Eli was too timid to try it. The kids each were able to bring home a hard hat and Grace was interviewed by WHOI; a local news station. She was a little shy for this and kept blowing bubbles with her gum.
Ava enjoyed a treat after the events! It was a very hot day.
Eli is a little cleaner with his popsicle.

Chasing Butterflies

Gracie and Mommy had fun chasing butterflies in the park. Afterward, we went shopping and had some "Mommy-Grace" time.Grace carried this twig around trying to get butterflies to land on it.
Look at the concentration! ( I think this picture looks like Grace's cousin; Austin.)

Gracie's first day of school!

Grace had a wonderful first day of school. She had open house yesterday and dropped off all of her supplies. She loves her teacher and is so excited to sit next to one of her best friends. Last night she picked out all of her outfits for the week by herself. I put her to bed at 8:00, but she didn't fall asleep until 11:00. She was then up bright and early this morning. It will catch up with her I'm guessing! I cannot believe my baby is in 1st grade already. Yikes!

Football Season is Here!!

Eli is very excited to get into his football gear. He fell asleep in his uniform and pads last night. It was quite tricky getting it all off!

Miss Ava

Love the eye lashes!
Grace and Eli are staying with Gaga and Papa for a couple of days. So Miss Ava feels she needs to soak up her "only child" days. She enjoyed going out to eat and feeding the ducks and fish tonight. She is quite the "show off" too. She repeats anything you ask her to and entertains those around her. Here she is wearing one of Gracie's dresses. Too cute!!Can you say " I look like my Mommy"?

Ava was so excited to talk to the ducks.

Summer Fun!

The kids love to play at the Discovery Museum! Painting on the Glass is their favorite. Ava loves playing with balls. Here you can see her mouth saying "ball".
Grace continues to love stuffed animals. Here we are on our way to Godfather's for supper. Her stuffy is a replica of one I had growing up.
Ava is our child without fear. She acts like she's 5. Water is her favorite thing. She puts her face right in the sprinklers.
Here Gracie is with her best buddy; Emma. They are stretching and posing before they run for "Fun Run".
Eli enjoyed Fun Run too. Brian is pictured with him. Guess which little man was more worn out after a lap around the track?
Eli's best bud; Braden met us at the Children's Museum. Here they are being doctors.

Two Vacation Bible Schools!

The Hensley's have had a busy couple of weeks. We put our house up for sale, attended/taught/coordinated two vacation bible schools, and managed to squeeze in some time for fun.
