Eli's First Baseball Practice

Eli had his first baseball practice today and was given his uniform. This is a HUGE deal for him, especially since he randomly was given #5; Albert Pujols' number. He wanted to pose for the following pictures, just before heading outside for more independent baseball practice. He stayed in full gear until bedtime. He is actually mad at me this morning because I didn't wash everything while he was asleep. No need to fear though...it is washing now and will be ready by 9:00 I told him. For some reason, I'm picturing my hubby being the exact same way as a child.
Eli's first game is this Saturday. The girls are excited because they get to play with their friends while he plays.

Our Week in Pictures!

We spent the day at the zoo. I actually didn't get any "zoo" pix...just fun ones before we went in. I love the first two....(other than the fact that Si isn't here yet).

Brian and Jason's first job as a "buisiness". Check out the American Pride for "J and B Roofing".

Eli scored a "300" on the Wi bowling. He wanted to brag with a picture. Too funny!

Hospital Caroling!

Each year our church coordinates a group called "prayer partners". Our theme this year was to "Bee a good prayer partner". Prayer Partners involves partnering with another church member and hanging out, completing activities, and praying for each other. We love Molly; Grace's prayer partner. Grace just wants to be with her all the time. Today, instead of having church services, our congregation went out the "Bee" good servants in the community. Grace, Ava, and I met up with some lovely ladies to sing hymns through the hospital. We were welcomed on the cardiovascular unit, ICU, and the surgery unit, among many more. We also prayed for each floor before leaving for a new unit.
Eli is very timid and chose to stay home with his Daddy! Grace and Molly!

My girls dressed the same.

Happy 2nd Birthday Ava!

Miss Ava was 2 years old on the 18th. I cannot beleive my baby is sooooo big (and sassy!). This year was the first year she could pick what she wanted to do, which of course was Chuck E. Cheese. Her favorite character is Mickey, and so we blended him into our party theme. We met our family in Peoria to celebrate her big day!
Here is Ava modeling her new p.j.'s
Ava was given a baby Silas. Here she is loving him.

Easter Fun!

We had two days of Easter Celebrations! We enjoyed lots of extended family, several egg hunts, dying eggs, and some great food! The kids have more candy than Halloween and Christmas right now in our snack drawer. Yikes!

Prarieland Family Fitness Night

Grace's school held a Family Fitness Night. We had a blast. The gym was set up in stations and different activities and vendors were there for us to visit. We even were able to sample plenty of nutritious snacks. (I must admit I visited Smoothie King more than once.) Each station the kids visited punched a card. When the card was filled, we could register for a prize. The prize wanted to most was the Wii Fit. I actually saw Eli praying as he waited for the winner to be called. He didn't win. As a mom, I just wanted to go buy it, but I know that would not have been right!!! In the first picture, you can see the kids getting a "hip hop" lesson. You'll see that Ms. Ava was right at the foot of the instructor, copying his every move. He just laughed at her.
