Bring on the Summer Fun!!

It was great to have Papa home from the hospital. To celebrate, he was able to be moved outside and watch the kiddos enjoy the wonderful weather. Below you can see that all of the kids enjoyed the water, even Silas who stood at the waterslide's end and laughed and laughed.

1st Popsicle

It was a quiet ride home! The sun wore everyone out.

Eli...always positive and smiling

Eli's Kindergarten Program was a hit. He has come so far socially! I've been attempting to upload some video off my camera, but have not had much success! I'll keep trying. Pictured below is Eli's teacher this year. Eli has quite the crush on her! It was a wonderful year for him in so many ways. My boy will be in first grade now. Yikes!
We've been making lots of music at our house! (Eli's new p.j.'s of choice have been his Dad's t-shirts. One day he'll actually fit in them...I'll cry.)
Spotting the Paparazzi
Running to 3rd
Always a stinker when we visit Papa! He loves to elevate the chair, despite being told not to. Obviously Papa encourages it in the background.

Silas has been "served"

Silas has been "officially" served his paperwork for his re-adoption in the U.S. We had to go in to the Sherrif's department and have the papers handed directly to Silas. I went to grab them and the officer told me no. Silas had to physically be the one to take them from the officer. Too funny!

**Silas was "officially" adopted by us in Ethiopia, but we were not present. Therefore, he needs to be re-adopted in the U.S.

The "Bigs"

The "Bigs" are our house are Gracie and Eli. They are so helpful with the "littles", and we love watching them grow and develop their interests and personalities.

Grace is especially kind to Silas. I left her for a minute with Si so that I could make dinner. When I returned, this is what I found.
Grace is all about peace and...
rockin' out to music.

Eli loves sports, and is a Cardinal fan despite the fact that...
...his assigned team this year is the Cubs!
Again...peace out. Here is Grace at a spa birthday celebration.
Eli and his best bud at the circus.
Eli loves baseball and talking baseball with his dad.
