Timber!

Every year our tree is beautiful! This year was no exception. Grace spotted it first...and Brian and I checked to make sure the trunk was straight (we learned from a previous "tree falling" to check this). The kids decorated it today, complete with tinsel, candy canes, and the perfect placement of their favorite ornaments. To make a long story short, the tree fell. I was expecting it to be honest. It seems it isn't a Christmas without a fallen tree. This is an annual occurence. I would have taken a picture. However, I was to frantic recovering ornaments, soaking up water, and stepping on needles. It is official...the season has begun.

All I want for Christmas is my...

Facebook

Facebook is killing me. You try to walk away...and then you are invited by someone else. I can't help but want to catch up. This is better than a class reunion! I've fallen into the trap. I'm glad to catch up with so many of you! Keep in touch!

The Hensley Dilema???

Our house has been trying to
decide if we should buy a real or an artificial tree! It has been quite the question for us. Eli would like to use a saw...His vote: Real. Grace thinks being outside will make her cold...Her vote: Artificial. Ava...well...Ava wants both. Help the

Hensley's decide!

Eli's field trip!

Eli participated in his preschool field trip at the Festival of Trees today! We had fun walking around looking at all of the donated trees up for raffle. All proceeds go to the Baby Fold...which is a plus. Eli, of course, was hesitant to take pictures. However, he made an exception when he saw a decorated St. Louis Cardinal Tree. I'm just happy I got a picture of the little squirt!

Gracie is "7"

Here are some updated pictures of Grace at Chuck E. Cheese. It was a late night for us, but Grace had it in her birthday plans to put on a "mask" when we got home. I don't like to dissapoint...so here she is right before bed with
her mask on!

Our baby girl is "7" today. Grace loves her birthday. Last night she woke up in the middle of the night and came to our bed. She knew it was her birthday and of course we told her "happy birthday", which is exactly what she wanted to hear. This morning we sang to her, she brought special treats to school, ate lunch (away from school, which is such a big deal) with Eli and Daddy, and we will celebrate at Chuck E. Cheese with family tonight.

Here are some random pictures of Ms. Gracie.

Grace's Animal "Tea" Party

Grace had a wonderful birthday party with her friends. She wanted to have a tea luncheon and invited each of the girls to bring their favorite stuffed animal or doll. It was cute. We played "animal-themed" games and they had the Zoo Lady paint their faces. Grace chose a blue tiger!

Halloween!

The kids had fun celebrating Halloween! Our Halloween consisted of 2 nights of trick-or-treating, a cookout at Gaga and Papa's, school parades and parties, and lot of costume changing. Since when does Halloween last 3 days? It was fun though!
