January has been geared around the 3 "s's"...sleepovers, sick days, and snow days. Ava has entered the world of sleepovers, so she and her best buddy plan them frequently. Grace continues to enjoy her weekend sleepovers as well! We have all been sick as well! It seems neither Brian, nor I have worked an entire week since before Christmas. It is either one of us sick or one of the kiddos...or a snow day.
Grace at her concert. Only I went because the other kiddos were sick. Of course this was a "make-up" concert due to snow days. She practiced for months at home and had a blast. We are very proud of her.

A true testament of my love for Brian. I even think about him while I'm painting. This was my special painting for him. The kids loved it. I didn't get a picture of it, but he drew me a "smiley" face on at the top of the cathedral.
Ava's newest obsession...hats. Along with her obsession of gymnastic and dance outfits and dresses, she is also obsessed with hats.
